6 Indoor Winter Farmers Markets Throughout the Twin Cities
Each year, as those deceptive warm days arrive with the sight of spring flowers in the grocery stores immediately followed by fresh snowfall, I am struck by spring fever. The yearning for grilled meats in the backyard and fresh veggies on my plate becomes overwhelming. Yet, as a Minnesotan, I know better than to say goodbye to my winter gear and say hello to shorts and sandals.
Despite this, there is still hope for us. Even though we cannot meander through outdoor markets and revel in fresh produce, many of our local producers can be found at Winter Farmers Markets scattered throughout the metro area. By discovering a nearby vendor, you can relish in Minnesota-made goods and motivate yourself while waiting for the arrival of spring flowers.
There are six year-round farmers' markets that you can explore!
